AutoTap Warranty and Conditions

AutoTap is manufactured under the highest standards of quality and workmanship and is warranted to be free from defects for 5 to 8 years from the date of purchase. AutoTap, at its option, replaces or provides an exchanged replacement parts for any defective parts or unit, provided that the unit was not misused, abused, altered or becomes inoperative due to sediment buildup or water born debris1 as it is explained below.

The components covered under this warranty are as follows:

1. Solenoid valve manifold: 5 years (not caused by sediment or waterborne debris).  A refundable core charge of $50 for return of old manifold plus $12 for shipping the replacement manifold will apply after the first year.
2. Pedal assembly: 8 years
3. Electronic control module: 5 years
4. Battery case: 5 years
5. A shipping charge of $12 will apply after the first year for all warranty replacement parts.

In any event, any repair or replacement part is in fulfillment of the original warranty and does not extend the warranty period beyond the original warranty period. This warranty does not include the cost of on sight labor or free replacement of a serviceable parts or components due to normal wear and tear caused by normal use. The sole obligation of AutoTap under this warranty is to provide a replacement unit or part for installation by the purchaser, or at its option, service or replace a used unit at its facility at a prorated cost.

In addition, and under no circumstances shall AutoTap be held liable for any incidental or consequential damages including and without limitations, damages resulting from the misuse of this product to property or loss of time and inconveniences. AutoTap will not be responsible for labor charges, installation, repair or replacement, nor for incidental or consequential damages or inconveniences that may occur during installation.
